Baidu on Tuesday said it swung to a third-quarter profit, helped by a gain on investments as revenue grew about in line with analyst estimates.
The company said it earned 6.68 billion yuan, or $916 million, after a loss in the year-earlier quarter. It recorded a 338 million yuan gain on investments, after losing 3.1 billion yuan in the year-earlier period, and it also benefited from a decrease in the impairment of long-term investments.
